BLAIN NOTES
We had a speaker from a Baseball business field come into class and share his business experience with us. He lost lost his business to other people that he partnered with. But one of his main lessons was to keep moving forward and finding new ways to innovate you ideas. He also talked about business competitors and how to avoid them by starting businesses that nobody else would start, like making a port-a-potty business. He talked to other students about their ideas and he gave each of them some advice. He was a cool guy and I enjoyed his presentation. |

Gary Buffo
Last week, we had the parents of a classmate come to class and talk to us. They had been in the business industry for over a decade. They had started off working at a restaurant but later started a limousine business when a former partner had other views. The couple are doing very well for their business and the husband has a good work ethic. The employees look professional and act appropriate to their costumers to give them a quality experience weather its for prom, a wedding, and etc. The business sounded interesting and the speakers were very respectful and engaging |
Speaker-
Earlier this week we had a speaker come in to class and questioned us about our definitions of success. He gave an interesting speech about his experiences in the construction business. He had gone through some hard times but came out of it okay. He learned a lot over the years and was proud of his attitude. He was very positive and hired people not by their work experience but by how they are as a person. After he talked about his career, he asked us questions like, "how would we define success?" and "what is your work ethic?". I gave him my responses and he respected what I said. Over all, this was honestly one of the best speakers we've had in class to date. Pat Pazet "Grinds" notes
